Issue #26

Nov 24, 2019

Dear friends,

Welcome to 26th issue of the Sunday Briefing. This week has the distinction of marking the 6 month anniversary of our little newsletter. The past 26 weeks have been an amazing ride where we grew and learned together. I'm sure the weeks to come will be even better, with some exciting news already on the horizon. Stay tuned!

This week we dive into graph analytics, network effects, visualization and time series clustering. We also continue our discussion about the origins and potential of AI with a look at Judea Pearl's latest book. We also dive into different datasources with a look at the AWS Data Exchange and Wikidata.

Finally, we wrap up the week by going back to basics with the first vide of Hugo Larochelle's online course on Neural Networks. Hugo does a great job of guiding you from the fundamentals to the advanced in this series of videos.

If you think one of your friends or colleagues would enjoy this newsletter, just go ahead and forward this email to them and help us grow!

Semper discentes,

The D4S team
